Yes, I know - Palm Springs has 350 days of sunshine a year.  However, as you can see, this isn’t one of them.  But just north of the city there are fields and fields of wind turbines twisting in the wind.  There’s a tour that explains it all.  Unfortunately, I haven’t taken it yet, but I will say more about these turbines later.

They are ugly.  If this is the solution to our energy problems, we are sunk.  Didn’t they have something like this in Holland a few hundred years ago.  This is the 21st century.  Pretty soon we’ll be burning corn for fuel’
